In the children’s climbing forest, situated at a height of 1.30 metres, all sorts of challenging obstacles await young adventurers. From a winding spider’s web to a wobbly bridge, every obstacle promises an exciting challenge. What makes it even more thrilling is the variety of climbing techniques you can try out – backwards, sideways, even with a blindfold on. But rest assured, safety comes first. Every climber is carefully secured, which means that even if you slip up, you’ll remain safely and securely suspended above the ground.

The children’s climbing forest not only offers a playful environment for young adventurers to test their climbing skills, but also a chance to build self-confidence and push their limits. At the end, you can also fly over our ziplines! Of course, you can also do a practice climbing round through the children's climbing forest beforehand if you still find it exciting at first.
FAQ
What if the weather’s bad outside?
Of course, we’re not worried about a bit of rain here, but if it does start to rain harder or get windier, we’ll naturally try to plan around that.
Help, I’m a bit nervous. Will I be able to climb?
Of course, you can go climbing. The climbing course is designed so that you always create your own route, meaning you can choose not to tackle certain obstacles if you prefer. After the briefing, you’re definitely welcome to do a practice run in the children’s climbing forest to build your confidence.
Do I need to wear special clothing/protection for climbing/ziplining?
For climbing/ziplining, everyone must wear a climbing harness and wear a smart belay system to safely climb at height. The instructor will explain how to wear it and how to use it.
- In terms of clothing, it is nice to choose comfortable clothes in which you can move well.
- You can't wear a skirt or dress with a climbing belt.
- Also, the shoes you wear should be closed and secure.
- Jewellery, phones, keys and anything else you have in trouser pockets should be left below.
Can I hold my children's party in the climbing forest?
You certainly can! We do always ask at a children's party if a parent wants to climb along. Height can be quite exciting, especially without your parents present. If at least one parent climbs with you during the children's party, they can climb with the children who find it exciting. Our instructors will of course support you in this, but we obviously know the children a little less well than you do.
Climbing a specific route?
No, with us you don't climb a specific route. Our climbing course consists of a series of choices. At each point, you choose which obstacle you want to take on or challenge yourself. So you can always build up slowly if you find it exciting or go straight to the highest point if you are a real daredevil.
When is the climbing forest open?
Our climbing course is open to walk-in visitors on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 March to 23 August, from 1.00 pm.
For groups of six or more, the climbing course is available all year round by booking.
During the summer holidays in the southern region, it’s also possible to come climbing from Wednesday to Friday. At weekends, of course, throughout the entire summer season.
